It was definitely a fun day!!! It was awesome hearing a completely different kind of board through my rig, and i could tell you enjoyed the hell out of getting to play through a 6x12. Get's loud with a 20watt head doesnt it That jazz master turned out great, the clean tones are SICK!!!! I was really surprised by how easy it was to setup, we only had to remove the neck once for a truss rod adjustment, and the precut nut from warmoth came cut for baritone strings!!!!! That was totally unexpected but made our lives so much easier.

BTW the guitar audio in the video is completely RAW recorded with an apex 215 ribbon and an audix i5 hard panned left and right, no eq, compression, or anything just a slight limiter on the master (that really wasnt needed but just wanted to prevent any clipping). Us talking is the camera mic, I then interweaved the two during the video. BTW iMovie is a PITA do that with

It was ALOT of fun being able to actually play through a sizable rig again. The 20 watt Verellen modded Jet City sounded about as loud as my 100 watt head through my 1x12 hahah.

And I'm really glad it didn't take a bunch of shit work and taking the neck on and off to get it to set right. I played it again last night when I got home and the neck had settled a little closer even to the pocket, it's almost entirely flush now which is great. And it was still relatively in tune even after the car ride and bringing it inside with the headstock sticking out of the bag!

It is a loud lil 20watt, it really helps having a clean boost at the end of your chain, instant overall volume bump. If we had more time I had 4 other cabinets we could have tried out as well The earcandy 2x12, 2 Sunn1x15's each with different speakers and my emperor 3x15. But i knew the 6x12 would be easiest and cleanest to record with to get an accurate representation of the tone.

I'm glad that it was relatively painless as well and good to hear about the neck, you might want to recheck the torque on all the neck bolts if it settled a lil more. Note to anyone thinking of doing this, Squier cannot drill neck mounting holes straight , 3 of them were square but one was off my atleast 2mm and angled, but we were able to make it work.

Yeah. I'm glad I moved the Super Duper to the end of the chain and it definitely has helped everything with my tiny little doom rig.

And that would have been amazing hahah. Next time I come down I'll have to bring my Sunn and Peavey so we can give all the cabs a work out at once



And yeah, I think I will double-check the neck bolts when I get home just to be safe. It wasn't a whole lot of movement, but still worth checking. It seriously plays a dream and I'm glad we were able to get the action and tension down from when we strung it the first time.

Take note, dudes! I'm really hoping that when I go to mount the Squier neck to the Telemaster it's not got a crooked screw hole in it. I'm just thankful that when we sunk the neck screws into the Warmoth neck that it didn't try to create a new hole. THAT would have been bad
