in this photo.. I had the 76' Grabber into the 68' Major in the 8x10, and the acoustic 450 in the 4x12, no pedals, nothing. It was unreal. The Major is the scariest amp ever made.
No volume limits in our new space, shit got crazy.
normally, 1 of two gibson SG's into the DR103 is plugged into the 70's Marshall 4x12 and the Hiwatt 4x12
gibson grabber into the Or120 into the ampeg 810, and the green plugged into the 215
gibson sg into the acoustic 450/peavey 412 and the vtm into the marshall cab with 70's celestions (he's getting new stuff after the summer, the Vtm isn't loud enough, haha.)
The Major has problems on and off, guitar guy friend in the band just got back not even a week ago.

that beat up marshall cab looks really sexy to me!
as does the hiwatt & matching cab.
So I know yesterday I posted a Rockerverb as a new aquisition, but it's already gone
I just traded it for this

I'll get a pic of my amps at the practice space today.

my bandmate has an RV50mk1 and i've always like his cleans,
otherwise I get I get plenty of orange tones with my OD120 & OTR120 already. just not a 6v6 clean.
we're going to start recording soon so the extra versatility of the mesa is going to be more rewarding.

The only complaint I can think of is how much it must suck having to clean off drop-ceiling debris after every session
Killer, dude.

I got the rocker in a trade for a tele I wasn't using anymore anyways (so I'm seeing it as a trade for a tele for the mark V, which is a crazy good uptrade!)
The only other amp I'm interested in is a Divided by 13 JRT, which I've owned but regret selling to fund a '72 superbass (that I didn't get along with in the end)
So here's what I'm assaulting my bandmates with lately:
OD120 & SVT-VR in a case on the side,
OTR120 and SVT-VR on the left, Hiwatt DR201 on the right
two Orange PPC412 cabs, and two Bergantino NV412 cabs (have I told you how muscle these cabs are, it's ridiculous)

Awesome.
Not to be a picky bastard, but the Rockerverb amps, IMO, sound nothing like the OR120's. When people say "Orange tone", I think of two very different things: OR120 and Rockerverb 100. But always OR120 first because it's just a better amp in almost every way and the original Orange construction and hallmark. That's just my opinion of course. YMMV and all that jazz.
