Also Bassboar, that is a hell of an avatar! <3 Joe Preston.
In fact:

I think you have this Joe Preston confused with the other Joe Preston.
Yes this Joe Preston was formally of These Arms are Snakes (like the original drummer or some shit). I've noted the Earth/Melvins/Sunn O)))) bassist Joe Preston interviewed on that Doom Stoner movie,...and they are two different entities. The Joe Preston in these vids is a beastly drummer.
I love Hooves; Mecha Shiva and Hooves have shared many a stage in Spokane. Probably the best band to come out of Spokane. About a year ago I asked them to bring me on as a bass player/noise guy,...but they went with my friend Amoe from Space Movies instead; which is cool since I'm pretty non committal. I actually used to work with Tony Brown (who is the Guitar Player in these vids, he was the executive chef at a restaurant that I ran pantry at). He's a cool sumbitch and a genius with food (he currently owns and operates a cafe called Stella's).
Cool story bro.

It's awesome to know that musicians like Stevie Wonder was hearing the Orange blast his behind off just as it is still doing today to musicians like you and I.

to be a bit technical, that amp in the stevie wonder poster is a post OrMat era pix only/post72 type scheme
while the OrMAT OR100 are IMO superior amp but more importantly it is a Matamp design.
okay amp nazi is done for now

How do you like the Sceptre cab? I saw one for cheap recently and thought about picking it up.

Looks badass Tigerbass! How's that bass spec Dwarvenaut sounding??
I absolutely love my Hovercraft, easily the most no nonsense 20W amp I've ever heard. Until now, I never thought 20W would produce so much output and low end. The amount of sonic awesomeness is shocking really, was kinda dumbfounded the first time I plugged in and let that amp RIP! Recently added the second 1x12 so she's really singing now.

How do the cleans on the Dwarvenauts hold up?
I'm super intrigued with the amp, but I'm lame and run my amps clean all the time.

Not well on mine but they're all spec'd differently. I have a med gain Model T in lower gain settings and Orange OR/Matamp flavor in high gain, pretty dirty amp but it LOVES getting smacked with boost/OD/fuzz as long as amp gain isn't set too hot. I use mine in a dual amp setup tho with an Ampeg GVT15H/vert Emperor 2x12 that serves as my all clean all the time true pedal platform amp. The Ampeg can't match the Dwarvenaut output tho cuz those Hovercrafts are crazy LOUD!
There's plenty of Dwarvenauts with 2-channel design that bring the Model T cleans with channel 1 and my amp's gain voicing in channel 2.

I'm picking up an ampeg V2 cab on monday. oversized 4X12 with front ports, tilt back wheels and handle bar. 43" tall, 29" wide. a quad of
200watt HH ACOUSTICS 1200E speakershopefully it pairs up nicely with the hiwatt head. (any suggestions for a monster cab for my DR201? I feel like I've got a search ahead of me)
