For me the best part about a jazzmaster/jaguar is the tremolo. I get frustrated with my other guitars for not having it. I want that system in everyone of them.
Really like the moon one!
It's a black top model, they came with hardtail bridges. I have that system on both my shortscale and bari jags. I don't use trem at all so I kinda prefer it as it's alot more stable.

It's a Fender Blacktop Jaguar, they seem to be the black sheep of the family for that very reason. It was my second really NICE guitar, and I totally dig how simple it is. I don't really ever use the trem arm on my Jazzmaster to justify needing it on both guitars to be honest. I call Moth my Caveman Offset!
And no worries Ancient, not a problem!

I knew it!!!
Skully moth is looking good
are there scale problems adding a baritone neck? what considerations do you need to make before ordering one?

Thanks dude! I added those black aluminum knobs to it as well just because they feel more solid, and sanded down the pickups to a shine. Going for really minimal looks with it.
If I was converting the Jaguar to a Baritone or even 25.5 for that matter there would be huge problems with intunation because it is 24" scale.
But for the Jazzmaster, since it is 25.5 already, the Warmoth necks fit right on. You'd want to get a Strat-Style baritone neck from them just because a Tele neck wouldn't fit without modification. But as far as scale problems there aren't any that I know of. It essentially adds 2 lower frets into the 1 and 2 slot for the extra length if I'm not mistaken

Yup the warmoth bari necks convert no problem on 25.5" jazzies, they're the same essentially as strat necks.
And skully is essentially right, it's also a 24 fret conversion so that you don't have to move the bridge, and it add's 2 notes but is tuned a whole step down.

It might not be the same on yours but on mine the 24th fret blocks access to the pickup mounting/adjustment screws for the neck pickup

I noticed that the neck had a lip to it, but I didn't take the original neck off last night to do a dry fitting. I guess if that's the case it won't be a super huge deal. I'm really digging the stock SD's in it!

It's no biggie if you get it where you like it before putting the neck back on. After rewiring the other day I thought my neck pickup was a little low, but couldn't adjust it. Plugged it in and it sounds good so I'm not going to worry about it. Just a thing to remember with those Warmoth necks.

Thanks for the heads up man. I'll have to do some testing tonight just to make extra sure I like it where it is now before I slap the new neck on!

This is after the first layer of tru oil on the neck. I've got a second coat that I just put on it, going to let it sit overnight and coat it once more before I'm off to work tomorrow. I'll coat it one last time tomorrow night after I get off work, then drill and set the tuners.

It's going onto the Telemaster build once the body comes! Going to stain that and tru oil that as well. Seems really easy and really makes it beautiful
