Fantastical!!!! Very tasteful mods, that things gotta have one hell of a variety of tones!!!! You need to hook up a rotary pickup selector switch for all kinds of wicked pickup combos.

Is that WRHB a direct drop in? If so, you have my attention.

I only ask because I saw a JM on Craigslist this week with a mini-bucker routed into a JM pickup cover. Wasn't sure if this was the same or not.

It looked okay, but I don't know if I would trust it. Didn't look as clean as that WRHB.

http://curtisnovak.com/pickups/jm-wr.shtmlExpensive, but I'm really liking it so far. He's also got PAF and P90s and whatever else that drop right into a jazzmaster. One funny thing I found was that the cover needed to be grounded but he didn't include a wire for that. After failing to solder a wire to the bottom side of the cover (melted a little bit of the cover) I just ended up grounding a couple of the mounting screws and it's working great now.

Is the cover on it metal or just chrome plastic?

considering how it reacted to the soldering iron i'd say chrome plastic. looks nice though. a few beers in and i didn't really think a lot before hitting it with the iron. either way it's conductive and was making awful noise whenever i bumped it with my hand (often) when i first put it in.

Did you build that moth guitar or did you buy it like that? Without the tremolo that is?
For me the best part about a jazzmaster/jaguar is the tremolo. I get frustrated with my other guitars for not having it. I want that system in everyone of them.
Really like the moon one!
