Did you get in on the Basic Audio Tourbox? Shit's currently in my possession and the Gnarly is superb. Spooky Tooth and Squarewave+ are equally badass!

Gonna dig in at full volume this weekend!

No, I joined up here too late for that, unfortunately. I'm listening to the Wildcat demos right now and want that, too! I'm guessing I'll try out most of the Basic line eventually.
Maybe partying will help.

I just went to guitar center for the first time in a while to get some strings and I ended up staying for like 2 hours. They had a Pawn Shop Mustang and it was soooo sweeeet. I was playin it into a Tiny Terror and they sounded so good. I was pretty surprised at how awesome the pickups are in that Mustang. It seems like coil splitting usually sucks but the humbucker and single coil sounds were both completely awesome in that guitar. I was also pretty surprised at how good the cleans were on the TT. I wasn't playing that loud though. I did take a second to turn it all the way up and it was sweet.

The gain all the way up was cool but had kindof a weird compression or something. I dunno..

But yeah I'm totally GASing for one of those Mustangs now and my love of Orange has been rekindled. Such sweet toanz!

I played one of those mustangs in a gc before, and even though it wasn't set up well, it was still really sweet to play. They seem like great guitars.

& I know Schnikes speaks highly of his.

Yeah dude they're SUPER sweet. Honestly if they had one in Lake Placid Blue and my buddy still worked at GC I would have bought one.

I've been gushing about the Mustang Special here since picking one up, particularly those pickups. I was all set/budgeted to switch 'em out if they sucked but they're some of the coolest HBs I've heard in a Fender, ever. Captures the character of a Fender, something not many coil taps can pull off, plus there's not a shitload of volume loss or noise when switching.

FINALLY, FENDER DOES HUMBUCKERS RIGHT!

Sorry, I've probably said all this before but it's nice that people are finally getting a chance to try 'em out, bitching guitars for sure. :thumb:

Incoming: boring stuff; MIDI cable, MIDI to usb thingy, another USB cable that actually fits. Also a Snark tuner
I hate unplugging and having to use the little brick tuner.
