I think they should do a remake of Robocop with Jason Alexander (as George Costanza) in the Clarence Boddicker role. :idk:

This is only 50% serious. Maybe 60%. The pleasure is in watching people either engage or call names, I guess.

I think 'evil' is weirdly apropo these days. Maybe that's why I use it. Not to get all 'holy crusader,' but what the fuck is even happening. But you can substitute 'self-interested and ignorant' if a more specific nomenclature does the trick. So it's not this/that either/or--it's inward or outward facing. And what's worrying me is that I can sense that I'm becoming more inward-facing and worrying about MY shit. Same goes for morality. It's a handy placeholder for 'egalitarian' or 'un-self-interested.' I'm not trying to ascribe any ideological terms to it...just writing from a place of emotion and not brain.

Sure, there are examples of goodpeopleacademics. I wasn't clear. I mean like good PEOPLE. Folks who are expert in the business of people-ing rather than thinking. See: actualidiot's response. You write shit like this, some people (rightly or wrongly) call you a neurasthenic egghead and tell you to shut up. It's possible to be bad at personhood and not be a bad person (I'd argue that they're related).

No attacks perceived, and who cares anyway.

But what do I know, I'm just a penis.

Ohhh noooooo you don't! We're going to get into the discourse. Put on scuba suit cause we're going deep!

I'm a penis too. Except I have not created spawn so my glans are not swollen in potential promise of conspiring with a cervix again.

I care about 'attacks perceived' because nothing irritates me more like giving the wrong impression. I actually 'not ironically' enjoy this type of discussion too.

Plus, this isn't about me. It's about you!

I am with you though. I don't understand why in a lot of instances 'profitable' in a University context = 'exploitation' in some capacity.

...I also think college is fucking retarded though, so there's that .

Hahahahah I'm not pulling back from it. I have no ability to try and emote that isn't also trying to provoke. So it's always both. Scuba suit on (though I spend a lot of time in the suit, and it doesn't fit right, and I'm not sure I'm meant to be a diver).

I'm trying to express disappointment in my limited way.

No wrong impression given. Fire away.

Oh I see. This is good. Let's actually go that route then. Can you go into further detail on your disappointments?

In other news I inadvertently bought a pedal today. I truly did not think the seller would accept my ridiculously low offer and yet...here we are...and he's shipping today...

What a day...

I don't think anyone gives 2 fucks about anyone else in a work setting.

I’m disappointed that we have collectively decided that jobs give our lives some kind of value (rather than labor, or anything else).
I’m disappointed that so few people feel like they contribute anything of value, and that those who think they do are often wrong.
I’m disappointed that I think about money as often as I do.
I’m disappointed that it’s requisite for young people to trade their lives in exchange for almost nothing.
I’m disappointed that there seems to be little impulse toward revolution.

I’M MAD AS HELL, AND I’M gonna keep eating shit because what say do I have in the matter, really.

It takes a lot of effort, for sure.

"I could have killed her when we first met. I'd have been out of jail by now."

I'm not condoning murder, but don't let your life go by and think back, "I should have changed 7 years ago, for this would have all been behind me."
