Well I thought it would be lower than it is, because he said they wanted to, "Add a bunch of features, at the same time lower the cost." ---Like I said, though, maybe in a year or three, they'll shave a couple hundred off when they've recouped some of their R&D money back.

As long as DSI is based in San Francisco, consumers we'll be paying premium prices for their products. That's one of the most insanely expensive (and criminally overrated) cities in the US. Even in a tamer market like Asheville, I imagine the janitor at Moog makes more dough than the floor manager at Behringer's factory.
My friend works in SF as a web developer and makes over 6 figures and can only afford basic shit. I can't imagine a place worse than DC cost of living wise but looks like SF has completely shattered my expectations. Fucking tech bros.

As someone who lives in the SF bay, I can confirm. Shit place to live. Trying to figure out an exit plan.

Bro, we live in NJ...it's like $900/month to live in a crack den like Irvington

Even if my parents gave me their house for free, property taxes would be like a third of my salary.

Philly used to be cheap but they convinced themselves they are Brooklyn 2.0.

I dunno, but I've refreshed this page 150 times this week, and I'm still waiting for a full picture.

As far as NAMM presence, I think they only have about 3 employees, so a NAMM trip was logistically likely out of the question. I guess they didn't send a prototype of the new mystery pedal to any dealers yet either. :idk:

I'm so glad I only rent in this hellhole state, but I still pay $900/month to live in the beautiful heroin capital of South Jersey (or so I've been told Williamstown is #1 for heroin related ODs in the area). My parents have talked about their property taxes before and holy shit it's insanity that people choose to live in this state.

I can see Philly getting expensive since it's the new place for art people to go to. There seems to be a really big upswing in cooler stuff coming from the area. But of course renewed interest = everything going up. Baltimore is probably (already, I think?) the next target.

3 or 4 pages back??? You missed out on the launching of a new sitcom/direct-to-Netflix D-movie.

It actually could be more useful than I'm giving it credit for. Still cracks me up though.

Kinda sucks that you need to use it with another controller to really use it though.

Also, I imagine like the seaboard, you really will be limited by software at first.
Oh, totally, I just have no skills when it comes to actutally playing an instrument.
Right.

Anyway, Mellowtone will be at booth 6475283901 with his new reverb! :!!!:

We're about 4 hours into NAMM (I forget exactly), and this is the first pic of the relaunched Echorec. :picard:

I just don't understand why all the NAMM pics are of people's outfits, alcoholic drinks, and food (97% of them poorly framed). I hate people so much. Play something already.
