there were some dudes on some forum a while back (probs tgp) saying some not super nice things about the timmy, and he joins the conversation super polite
like to the point that I went from having absolutely no interest in him or his pedals to youtubeing demos of the timmy and wanting one. just cause he seemed like a Tom Dalton kind of guy, ya mean?

As far as credible, sincere builders go Paul C is easily in the top tier.
I say this without having any direct, personal experience dealing with him, myself & I still haven't tried a Tim/Timmy.
But starting from my initial impression the guy has seemed like a respectful and even honorable fella...who has the (mis?)fortune of his core supporters being a bunch of sanctimonious and condescending old farts and fuddy duddies.

Sooner or later a trade opportunity will come my way and I'll try his pedals; but I'd really prefer to give him the business. The ability to easily swap op amps is a huge allure...and I'm not the type of person to avoid buying something I like just because someone I don't care for has bought/endorses it. It's like hating a band because of their annoying fans......don't let the undesirables ruin it for ya.

His pedals seem to be ideal for driving/boosting fuzz...what's not to love?

I don't really see the necessity of posting the thread on TGP, seeing as how you don't really have ties with that community, and if someone were looking they could find info on what went down without that thread (bing search pulls up results on the issue within 3 pages or less depending on search term). But I also don't know how it feels to be subjected to a shitty happenstance such as this.

Not saying it's unwarranted, just think it's unnecessary.
Still love ya Ben

lol. totally feel you. i was still aghast that him and/or his grrL made an alt here and asked for me to be banned, whilst i was telling him i was going to take stuff down... but i hadn't even thought of posting on TGP. i'm not even close to a part of that community. don't mean that in a negative way, just that i've never spent any time there. i think i had 3 posts before that? all in for sale threads when i was looking for a Flashback.

a bud on TB made a thread there, it got shut down, the mod said "because he had no personal experience in the matter" or sumphin', he pm'd me and asked me to post on TGP. i was kinda hesitant, since no-one there knows me..... i didn't want to be that doucher that first post trashes someone. but it kinda annoyed me that my bud wanted to warn his friends to be careful and he wasn't allowed to.

i can see how it looks petty and vindictive though. i'm still a bit awkward feeling about it.

hold.... hold me?

Ahh. I read that at some point but it didn't click with me.

I'll still hold you (although, with how much taller you are than me, I'm not sure how effective my holding would be  )
