Troof. I thought my rig was pretty massive until I saw that pic.

Dude you still got that wicked Soldano.... :poke:

AxAxSxS wrote:I literally am now constrained by how much room we have in the van, and thats with us haveing to use two vehicles to get all three band members to gigs, and Skips rig is still bigger than mine,

 That's why I'm thinking of just going with a two piece for the next project. More room for my rig. :yay: But realistically I won't be using all four heads at once, it will be stereo pairs most likely. With PA support will be Dunwich + Verellen, without PA support Dunwich + Peavey, and the Hiwatt will most likelybe for home use or as a standalone if I join a different band and am limited to one head.

Ampeg SS-140c, Pignose G40v that I sawed off and turned into a head, and under that is a box holding an Alesis Microverb III and Ibanez DMD2000.

Cool man, I'm the resident 12 string psycho in case you had not noticed ;) I like having the octave strings in there and find it lets me eq much darker without getting swallowed by, or stepping on the bass. Looks like you did a great job putting it together! I'll be keeping an eye out for more pics and info you post. :thumb:

Once I can get my hands on a decent camera, I will take some good pictures and post on the guitar thread, but for now I can tell you the basics.
I assembled it out of a kit and spare parts a couple months ago. I was surprised at the quality of the woods in the kit! Everything else I had laying around. Wiring is standard LP wiring (for now) with emg passive and burstbucker. It has a narrower neck profile than any other 12 string (acoustic or electric) I have ever put my hands on. . . BUT, that was perfect for what I had in mind. I string it with 9 strings around B standard, drop B, or A# standard. The 3 high strings are doubled up and the 3 lower strings stand alone. I borrowed this idea from Matt Pike and B.C. Rich's "Perfect 10" guitars. As Pike would explain it, it gives the guitar kind of a natural chorus feel. Very cool for solos as well as picked chords, without giving this doomer unwanted high notes! :animal:
