Got my bass back from getting cleaned and set up, and holy bananas it plays awesome. Also, clanky new round wounds on it is awesome. It's like playing a brand new bass.

Nice. I've been there once, but just stopped in quickly. It was kind of a pain because the roads were all torn up at the time. I found that place is kind of overwhelming for some reason. I dunno, I'll definitely go back there sometime soon. I tend to forget about it for some reason.

that store is a pretty well-known Internet/eBay retailer...at one time they were a big Gretsch outlet.

All the roads are completely redone. And they have quite the selection of fuzz and non fuzz pedals. The walls of vintage guitars are pretty cool too.

Also, I ended up getting to see my girlfriend today, one of my best friends and I both have off tomorrow, and we got a new tv. All is well. We also have ice cream. So theres that.

i woke up way too early, but i'm sitting at the laptop with my cat in my lap and a morning bowl. the sun is up, the heaters have been on for 45 minutes and so it's pleasantly warm...it's a nice morning.
