Out of those 4, just the closeup one (with the Duncans) is passive. All the others are EMG 81/85
I'm probably gonna swap out a bridge for a Duncan Blackout. I have blackouts in another geet (no pic) but they're great for going into an already distorted-as-hell amp. They just overload any pedal.

here's my current main guitar. 90s Danelectro U2 reissue. Original color was a light blue, but it faded into a greenish color. looks greener in person.

All I know so far is G&L = HOT HOT SEX
Hey Max, thats a maple cap... how does it sound unplugged? Probably a bit brighter than regulal Swamp Ash body?
Nice guitar.

In my limited experience with guitars, you hit it right on the money. It's probably what I like most about anything G&L produces, is the bright default sound.
Trust me this bitch can go a lot darker too. I love it and I am thinking I am gonna keep it

Sweet! Did you just tape off the neck pickup, or remove it completely?

It's out. Wiring is way simpler that way, no switches to deal with except a mini-toggle for the lipstick behind the bridge. Rhythm circuit guts are still in there, but not connected to anything (obviously). Swapped to 500K pots and probably going to get some tele-style knobs since the stock ones don't fit on the new pots. Also the low A/B string is way too big to fit in the bridge grooves but hopefully some filing tonight will fix that. Might end up replacing the pickup but the stock one sounds decent enough so I'm in no hurry. Gotta get the bridge sorted out first.

You using the stock Jazzy bridge? Might be simpler/less jump if you got a Mustang Bridge and filed it down. Only 1 slot per string instead of the spiral like on the Jazzmaster. Setup right it doesn't pop out or anything. Would really be interested in hearing clips of this!

Stock bridge. I'm concerned about the radius on those mustang bridges and the saddles not being adjustable. With the 10-16" compound radius that Warmoth neck is pretty flat.
