I used to play with a buddy all the time, and he had the Hotrod Deluxe while I have the Blues Deluxe. Mine seemed to have more low end, and a more open, warmer sound. The HRD seemed to me to be tuned more for a tighter higher gain kinda sound. $400 sounds about right if it's in good shape with the footswitch and maybe even the dust cover.

My friend had one. Was a workhorse. As modernage and ole kosta have said, $400 is def going rate. He sold his for $325 last summer. They pop up on my local craigs for $300-$400 damn near daily.

Sorry if it was mentioned earlier but what diodes are in your Mini Gnome?
I have a Deluxe and I still can't figure out what setting I like most. SO. MANY. OPTIONS! The Mini's are a lot more streamlined.

I don't know, I went for the br00tz option of mini. I was never had an VTF but just ordered one because I think Danny is cool and wanted to try out something new.
