well, as i said before in thread i am a VERY casual gamer...but the last i heard, admittedly it has been a while (late last year IIRC)...they decided not to use a bluray drive in the xbox one.
even if it did have a bluray, id probably rather have a ps3, so i could have access to those ps3 exclusive games - seems a little redundant (as a casual gamer) to have the 360 and the newer version of the 360...
right on. good on microsoft for pulling their head out of their ass. there were seemingly reliable reports last year that it would be a dvd drive...again...

Really hope they do a good PC port for Last of Us. My friend let us borrow it but after watching my roommate play it I'm just not that interested in the gameplay at this point
Been playing mostly Serious Sam 3 and Space Pirates and Zombies (which is fucking addicting). Also have a bunch of games in my backlog (Psychonauts is up first!)
Apparently the Steam Summer Sale is set to start tomorrow according to most gaming news sites so that backlog will be getting bigger
I hooked my computer up to my Tv and had it on 50 volume with my doors and windows open so the whole neighborhood could hear me after 8 hours i finally got a cop come to my house about a noise complaint

Aw shit yeah i just copped metro last light for my PS triple. That and last of us and the metal gear solid collection should tide me over till saints row and gta5 come out. Stoked also on getting my ps quatro...which should tide me over until i can figure out a PC sitch.

Metro was great, just be prepared for the mass pseudo Russian accents that kind of blend into an almost Borat voice. Going to read the Metro 2033 book soon.
