But why blame the USA for that? You should be blaming your own politicians for going along with it. If it is such a bad deal for Norway, you should be demanding that your leaders withdraw you from NATO.

Because they have no business being here? Do you even understand what a loophole is (let me help you: An ambiguity or inadequacy in a system, ie. exploiting intent)? You started off with comparing arming civilians and....wait for it... the army. I don't see a fruitful conversation emerging from the two of us discussing this.
