Just found a Wampler Nirvana chorus for cheap, I'm going to use it in the loop of my Analogman Dual Delay.

Paul Kossoff played his plexi through bass cabs...
I bet you could get close to that bass sound with an Ezekiel and a good compressor (and a mountain of speakers)

Catalinbread posted quite an interesting video on facebook. Looks like a tape echo unit:

You'll find a lot more people using bass heads into guitar cabs than the other way around.
If you use an older/lower wattage bass cab like the ones he was probably using you'll be fine.
If you try and run a 50-100w guitar head into the modern 600-1600w bass cab, it's going to sound like shit whether you are Paul Kossoff or not.

I got offered a Hot Rod Deluxe 40w for $400. Good deal?
Review I read said it doesn't have a ton of low end; any users that can support/deny that?

I feel like that is the going rate for the HRD. Not a good deal, but definitely not a bad. My old roommate used to have that amp, but it has been years since I've played/listened to it. Out of all in the Hot Rod series, and I've played them all, the Deluxe sounded the best to me.
