! Just picked up the white Rick. All black hardware and black binding and the white has aged to a super nice ivory/off white. It also has one of the thinnest necks I have played on a Rick.

Still need to take a pick with the other Anal head and the Sunn 412LH box to complete the trifecta of rumble.
Mmmmmmm, Dat Rickenbacker. How's that walnut Ric sound compared to the other one?

The walnut sounds a bit brighter and warmer than the white one. The white one definitely has more growl than the walnut as well. It is not a massive difference, but it is there. The pickups in the white one also seem to be a lot hotter for some reason.

Had to downsize for NYC apartment living. It won't see any use for a while, but I refuse to sell my Butcher forever, and widdle baby doom rig is getting shit done:

Nice! Your taste in tolex/cloth is both impeccable and correct.

I dig mini-doom setups. How do you like the VHT? I've been curious about them for a long time. And also the Karma Sutre?

Too much radness on this page.
Also curious about that VHT.

It's great. Really nice clean tones. Takes pedals extremely well. Surprisingly loud. I use a Dirty Little Secret as a preamp so it stays a little quieter. Pretty much everything I could want.
Karma Suture is amazing. Phenomenal zippy fuzz lead tones and can get sludgy for power chord riffing.

Nice. I'm still very happy with my Ampeg, with the exception of my Les Paul when using dirt pedals - there is a really harsh, scratchy high end that comes through in only that scenario. The cleans are pretty and dirt pedals work just fine with the other guitars, so I don't know what the deal is
The VHT is a champ, right? I need to keep those on my radar just to snag one if it pops up on the cheap.
I've never played a Harmonic Percolator (that's what the KS is, right?). I am intrigued.

The VHT is the shit, that's what I know. And the Suture is a Percolator clone, yep, and extremely fun. Nails those Blue Record fuzz tones.
