I'll definitely do that if you're serious. How much do you think shipping will run?

Somehow it slipped my mind that I have no standing to complain about pedals with swastika designs. But, in my defense, it was Ryansummit's artwork and it was for the lulz:

Maybe I just think of builders differently, having been part of this forum for a while now.
He's polite and certainly not aloof, but he does seem to move around a lot for work or who knows why and probably appears flighty as a result.

I don't think the perviously used term "dilettante" is really fitting or fair. Rhys seems like more of an artist than a Brian Hamilton solo-business person to me. He thinks up crazy things and we're fortunate enough to have a chance to buy them if we want.

He's not intending to compete in a market.

And I don't think he intentionally builds mystique. His lifestyle probably just doesn't suit the expectations of the average GAS-fueled ILF person, yet he either fails to parse that fact and translate it to better business development or he just does the best he can. This, I think, is also why he's constantly changing the website theme. He likes it feeling a little off and not because he's pretentious or trying to market himself, he's just a weird dude.

This is all me approximating from our "Hey man, how's it going" chats and nothing more. FWIW, I have mentioned this thread to him as well as a bunch of praise and some of the talk of delays, etc. in the past. Re: the delays in communication, it seemed like Rhys went and sorted out those things as they were brought to his attention. Maybe not quick but eventually.

I had a Resonator and it was pretty underwhelming. I have no clue why that clip sounds so great, but i'd like to know.

That's pretty much what a Harmonic Energizer is. What fuzzes did you try it with?

at the time I had an iron ether oxide and polygrace. but it was a little over a year ago, I don't remember how hard I tried to like it, probably not that much to be honest haha. i'm usually impatient with pedals if I dont have a good first impression.

Understandable. Sometimes if I don't get on with a pedal right away, it just doesn't happen.

I'd still like to try a Resonator.

I have a Harmonic Energizer clone that I built back in the day from madbean's karate shop pcb. I busted it out recently and was pretty underwhelmed. BUT, I did probably play it for 5 minutes with some other shit. I remember that the low end of the filter was pretty tasty with fuzz back when I first built it. Guess I should play it again.

Hey, man. Thanks for sharing. Interesting read that answers plenty of questions! :)*
