Anybody watch the recent 4 part NOVA series with Brian Green about the fabric of space, the nature of time, the quantum universe, and the multiverse? Definitely the most interesting and cool space shows I've seen in awhile! (kinda weird though, no mention of ancient aliens at all, or ancient allens.)

Oooh space! The final frontier! That one sounds good. Did he mention future aliens in the past? You know, like they're actually from the future, but travel at such a great velocity that they went back in time? And then return to their own planet and time via wormhole? Because apparently there's wormholes in space-time that allow for forward time travel.

I just started up Terra Nova. Serious lack of dinosaurs. I was hoping for some Dinotopia type jawn. *sigh*

Dumbed-down plot and dialogue, lame effects, no suspense etc. Only good thing about it was Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

The 1982 Carpenter version shits all over it in every way.

When the first edition of the thing came out it got some pretty blegh reviews, people didn't know how to categorize it as a film and it was too 'unfamiliar' to them.
Plus, I don't know where to put this, but I just got my tremollesence and I was all like HHHHNNNNGGGGHHH!!!

And now it's revered as a classic. Will this new version be, in thirty years?

I'm with Jenesis on this one: Only good thing about it was Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

The movie itself is really just a pale re-telling of Carpenter's version. I can't believe they even had the nerve to call it a prequel.

Uh, yeah, hated 'em.

I actually only saw the first one and that was enough. Too much really. Gimme the cartoons or gimme death.
