Seriously, how much pot does he smoke?

I doubt the consumption of Cannibinoids is enhancing his stupidity or diminishing his intelligence.
I'd say we're looking at a "latent/resting potential" here.

Gary's heart seems to be in the right place, even if his brain isn't.

I agree and have considered voting for him, but at the same time he won't win. I guess it doesn't really matter at this point, which sucks.
I liked Rand Paul on most of his views, but I like Bernie on a lot of his as well.
This election is stupid. What the hell are we all doing?

Right?
I was really hoping for a Paul vs. Sanders election. Now
that would've been the election of the century.

Fortunatly for me, my state's +8 for Clinton so I can feel good about myself voting for Johnson and hopefully garnering them matching funds in 2020.
Not that I wouldn't do it, anyways, but the prospect of a Trump Presidency scares me slightly more than the Clinton version.
She may be vile, mean, corrupt and out only for herself and her backers
but at least it continues a status quo we've come to know and regret. Four years of her nonsense, continuation of all the bad parts of Obama and Bush and the rest, is still preferable to someone who's only gotten more buffoonish the further he's gotten.
I held out hope that Trump would morph into something "Presidential" for months now, if only because his known policies and positions before he ran were actually pretty good (and surprisingly leftist) mixed in with the actual outsider thing he brings.. But nope. It only gets worse.
Hitler or Mussolini. At least Il Duce didn't fire up the ovens.

He did. I think he only cooked pizza though.

Better how? I don't care for Clinton or Trump but the former at least has policy and government experience. Having said that I don't excuse anything Clinton has done or the fact that she is in many ways the epitome of the government and private sector marriage the makes our political system so slimy.
I think with Clinton we kind of know what we're going to get: either the same trajectory as Obama - for the most part - or she actually moves more towards the center or away from Obama's left leaning regarding social justice issues and being tougher in the Middle East.
With both Trump and Johnson, its kind of a big gamble as to what they'd do and how they would handle a given situation.

The counter argument:
A) Both Johnson and Weld are experienced politicians. Granted, at the state level, but that's still more than Trump has.
B) Neither Johnson nor Weld have the kind of baggage that Clinton or Trump does. They've (or at least Johnson has) been fairly transparent about their weaknesses and there haven't been any Clinton or Trump-level controversies. Now, that could be because no one is paying attention to them, or it could be because they're just upstanding citizens. With the election as it is, we'll likely never find out.
Even with Johnson's gaffes (and, c'mon, they're fairly minor gaffes compared to Trump's and Clinton's) he still seems
relatively qualified when you look at the rest of the field this year. All the other issues that have been mentioned in this thread or elsewhere seem to be policy issues with the Libertarian Party in general.

Don't worry about the new emails guys, the dude heading the DOJ probe into the Huma stuff is a dude named Peter Kadzik, who is literally John Podesta's best buddy.
Johnson and Bernie seem like honestly decent people. I think Bernie is completely retarded in terms of almost everything but he's a decent dude. I don't give a shit about Johnson's gaffes, they are so much nicer to the ears than the hyper political scumtalk of people like Clinton where every single fucking word is deviously calculated.
Trump is dirtbagish. The things wrong with Trump pale in comparison to Clinton.
Clinton is the absolute epitome of everything that is wrong with our government.

But Trump is the Epitome of everything that is wrong with crackers.
Out of the country on Tuesday, last minute, trying to lock down an absentee.
