Falling in love with my Aenima again. Jazzmaster with minimum intensity =

Also, Could anyone recommend me a kind of heavy overdrive or "transparent" fuzz?
I love the way my Fuck OD makes my guitars sounds, very thick and open, but I'd like something more heavy and... doomy?
My Eau Claire Thunder sounds too compressed, tried a Pharaoh before and it was ok but not quite what I wanted.
Really want that large, open kind of sound. Suggestions?

TAFM is a great suggestion, that fucker is super heavy! The LSTR brings the thick, high gain fuzz too. The Fuck boosts all of these wonderfully, just blasts the shit out of 'em, sounds supreme.

Anyone tried a Fuzz Huger yet??

Oh, and I snagged that Creamsicle Hoof on trade awhile back. :thumb:

Megalith does not appeal to me really. I should check the TAFM out on guitar more, I think I remember it sounding pretty nice. MEathead clone would be sweet to try as well, I'll keep my eyes out for a clone.

& yeah I think the Hoof was part of the trade for the Tremolessence? Which I shouldn't have traded later
But I think I'm getting a birthday trem soon :yay:

What fuzz hugger would you suggest? I haven't really liked how the treble has sounded on the Bloom in the videos I've seen.

Cool, I have a LSTR and I was wondering how they compare?
I really liked the Hoof, I just can't remember how it sounds and my set up has changed a bunch since I had it.

I actually sold the Hoof and switched to the Pharaoh and LSTR. I'll switch the TAFM in there now and again also.

LSTR and Hoof have some definite overlap but I only found one setting I really loved on the hoof and the fuzz was dimed always. The LSTR is a bit more versatile for me with far more gain on tap. The Hoof really walked the fuzz/distortion line, a characteristic the LSTR cops well while also packing unmistakeable fuzz tones. That how I felt about 'em at least.

I think he was talking about Tom's new pedal the Fuzz Huger

Personally, I'm waiting for the Lab Ratchet...

Funny you should mention a meathead...check out stanimal's b/s/t thread. He's got a sonic titan>meathead dlx clone that's been calling to me for teh heveez. I'm trying to be all responsible and shit, so buy it and take away my temptation.

And I'ma have to plug the VTF. Just found a setting today that's heavier than anything I got out of a TAFM. Plus it overloads/cuts out/tremolos for added awesome.

Thanks, I'll probably pick up another Hoof, if I can find one cheap.

Damn the first setting on the Fuzz Huger in that video sounded really good. & it's a good thing I'm not interested in the sonic titan or I may have blown my Tremolessence fund on that. The VTF is probably too much pedal for me, but I would love to play one sometime.

I was playing with my Fuck with the gain maxed and it was actually almost exactly what I wanted, but I want something I can stack with the Fuck. Maybe I should just get two :?: or probably something similar but able to do some different stuff, too.

Yep, that's what I was getting at. Looks pretty cool, haven't heard much yet...

The VTF is fucking killer, another one on my board at all times. It'll get heavy as fuck but I use it for more whack shit since the Pharaoh and LSTR cover the heavy. The Deluxe version will do waaaaaaaaayyyyyy more than any of the fuzz we're talking about here. My only complaint is it's packed with so many cool/crazy sounds, I have a hard time settling on one.

That and learning the intricacies of dialing that bitch in. Once you get familiar with it though, wow, fuzz options like I've never heard.

Check out the redesigned VTF in the Shark Tank.

Deluxe is the way to go if McS still offers it, if you want ridiculous variety that is.
