How is it?

Not really a fan of Uncharted and this game doesn't really appeal to me. It seems like it exists purely for 'Game Award Bait', post apocalyptic world with a child and a buff dude. I'm kind of being a dick.

It's amazing. One of the more tense/intense games I have ever played.
I have never played the uncharted games, so I have no opinion there.

Although Monk WAS pretty fun for a while, around level 50 it dawned on me, as it eventually does in all MMOs, that I was going to end up spending my time doing raids for a small chance to upgrade my gear so I can do more raids so I can maybe upgrade my gear...
All MMOs have a point, like a "break", where I'm having fun all the way up untiiiiiillll I'm suddenly hit with the realization that there's no endgame, or I'll be stuck in a gear cycle, or I'm neglecting real life things at the expense of leveling my grimdark haunted warrior, the rank 9 million magic knight and hero of bumblefuck village. And then my enthusiasm for the game instantly vanishes, followed by a brief mourning period

Especially if you're making a new dude, dude. Quit while you're ahead; there's nothing for you there.

Heh, I have no intention of really getting back into that cycle. I've been in it a few times, watching my life get sucked away. Since I've moved, I haven't really been gaming with friends, but my friends just recently started back up, so it's more of somewhere to go hang out. Hopefully.

I had a bad addiction to that game and dropped a bill on a whole bunch of shit.

I was terrible at it.

I'm playing through Final Fantasy Five right now. It's been a looooooong time since I've grinded through any of the Final Fantasy games.

Limbo is absolutely amazing. Everyone should play that.

Got my laptop back last week so I'm working on a lot of the Humble Bundle games I haven't played yet.

-A whole shitload of Serious Sam games
-Some Double Fine games like Stacking, Pyschonauts (yep never played it before) and Costume Quest. Might do Brutal Legend too :idk:
-Sword and Sworcery
-Other random games. Beat Hazard is pretty fucking fun.

Also specced out a gaming PC that I'm saving up for. Going to run me like 2k but I'll be set for a long while there. Now to learn how to build it. I've heard that it isn't too hard but I'm going to have an experienced friend there to help me through my first build.

It might take a while the first time but it's not too difficult overall. Cable management is the worst part, and pressing cards into PCI slots can be kinda scary.
Just be careful about overdoing a build...well, I guess it depends on the games you play, but a shit-hot setup right now will be pretty good or middle of the road in a year or two; PC parts improve quickly.
