IN: Modded Big Muff, but I can't play it until after the weekend because I don't have this thing with me at school.

WOOOOO! Japanese version. Can't wait to try it out at practice tonight. Very interested to see how it works in a shoegazey context, given that Adam Franklin, Dean Garcia and arguably Bilinda Butcher used it.

It's cool I'm stopping by my house quick tomorrow and I have one there. Won't be back with my gear until Monday but that's cool, I'm still excited either way.

It does work for teh gaze. I finally got one (Taiwanese build) off of the craigs this year, and it does a fuzzy, smeary, screachy, floppy bass distortion thing pretty friggin' well. You know how a Muff veers past fuzz towards distortion? This goes a bit further but somehow gets less refined. It's a beautiful trainwreck.

I had one for a while and used it on both guitar and bass. Really nice overdrive with simplistic controls but a lot of depth. Everything from a clean boost to a dark medium gained overdrive. Highly recommended especially if you have a decent amp with nice natural break up.
