Discussion: Heard somebody call burgundy mist "deep metallic pink", have I been wrong all the time? Always thought of it as purple that got pinkish when old

I tend to think of "Burgundy" as a reddish purple, whereas "Burgundy Mist" is definitely less reddish and more pinkish. 
"deep metallic pink" isn't necessarily a bad description, but I don't think it's quite accurate.

Yeah I think so too. I get why somebody would call it pink but like it has some really blue notes. maybe it is the combo of old nitro finishes, metallic flaces, and purple being an imaginary color (idk the technical term)
