Wallace is a registered Democrat...but that's always been kind of a contentious issue.jrfox92 wrote:I think the biggest story that'll come out of this election is that the (arguably) best moderation of the debates was from a Fox News anchor.kbit wrote:and probably the best moderation yet...
Goroth here.kbit wrote:Trump referred to drug dealers as "hombres", Clinton's painfully obvious but surprisingly effective pivot, and probably the best moderation yet... interesting night.

Yeah Wallace is painted (rightly in some ways) with the Fox News Brush but he's got a long history of political journalism under his belt prior to that (he's only been with fox since, like, 2004 or something). Pretty famously asking Reagan point-blank why Ronnie would lie about Israel not being involved in the Iran-Contra Deal (they were), which is far from what you'd expect from your garden variety "Fox News anchor."snipelfritz wrote:Wallace is a registered Democrat...but that's always been kind of a contentious issue.jrfox92 wrote:I think the biggest story that'll come out of this election is that the (arguably) best moderation of the debates was from a Fox News anchor.kbit wrote:and probably the best moderation yet...

She did indeed, she's a skilled politician, she's brutally intelligent, and she's a policy wonk. She actually knows what she is talking about. Trump's knowledge and understanding, on the other hand, seem superficial.snipelfritz wrote:Not to mention it was a completely not answering the question.
Let's stop holding Donald up on uneven footing. Hillary cleaned the floor with him last night. She's clearly the more skilled politician.
