Thanks! I will make better pics soon.
It is the Squier Vista series made in Japan. I think the idea of this guitar was a picute of Hendrix playing a Jazzmaster. They came in blue and silver sparkle, black and white. I played in 98 or so a blue one in a shop and had GAS for one since that time. It has a great attack and does the "surf" twang really good.
This one i bought some years ago (~4-5) from the US-ebay.

I took the pickguard off and noticed that the neck pickup was routed pretty big.. But a P90 wouldn't fit sooo..
I think I'm going to order at GFS soon... I'll put this in the neck and this in the bridge... and all that will go into this pickguard.

Anyways.. crappy PICTURE TIME :joy: :

 thanks :-)
The strings don't really feel different..... I mean I used .009s before and now they are .011s.. so its kinda hard to compare, but from the feeling itself there is no difference.. it's not like they spray painted them black

I think I'm going to put a black pick guard on there and use the hi def neons. I've had the green ones on my old strat, and they felt and looked good too.... maybe I'll put pink ones on my tele. But I'll check what other colors they have. Maybe orange ;)

First, gently remove that goddamn sticker from sexy sparkle finish. Second, sell me that guitar please! Third, do you have any of that wallpaper leftover, just going to waste? If so, send that along with guitar. ;)

Very beautiful.

My feelings exactly.

I've honestly never seen that model. One of the few Squiers I would love to hunt down.

I thought I hated short scales until getting a Mustang Special. Goodness, that thing just feels right! I'm used to Gibson scale though, you consider that short too Robin or we talking 24" and below?

Also, how about selling me that guitar?

That Squier reminds me of Robin Guthrie's Russell Fong:

DRs are top notch. :thumb:
11-?

I use Tite Fit 11-50 normally, rulez, very even tension with that set. Plus they last FOREVER!

Yeah, Gibson is already short scale to me. Even PRS
I have a bit of wallpaper still here. If you want it, i will send it to you. No problem. But i think, the guitar will stay here - matches the Mustang bass so fine

And those stickers are just awesome. Get yourself some: http://wwrrssddrrwwss.bigcartel.com/ :thumb:
