I think that bass is about as "Purple" as it's a "80s MIJ guitar" or a Fender myself.

I'd classify that as "pale purple" there, furtkamp. As for provenance, I couldn't tell ya.

If you read their description it's all guesswork and supposition. Custom decal like I'm looking at for one of my Jazzmasters, easy enough to get.

I think somebody saw a Dean neon bass and decided they wanted their own version.

It actually doesn't look that bad though. Think I might change those knobs.
