No affiliation, just a satisfied customer!
oh sweet, i didn't know that was taken over. any idea what the jazzy/jag/vi plates cost? i need a couple.
Not really... I got a couple (a blank upper Jag plate and a Marr lower plate) in his year-end sale last year. The stuff is really high quality and he has a massive selection of custom / quirky options (including a hardtail Jag/Jazz/VI plate with cutout for a behind-the-bridge pickup!). Drop Kevin a message on Facebook, I'm sure he'll be happy to answer any questions...
I saw those behind the bridge pickup ones on his Facebook page. I am insanely tempted to grab one of those for my bass VI
I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I'm thinking if I do this, I'd like to set it up so I have a concentric volume and tone pot for the standard Bass VI pickups and then wire a behind the bridge pickup in with a volume pot and kill switch. Not sure if I'd want to go with an actual pickup or a contact mic though :idk:

Google seems to agree with you, yeah some sort of always on boost/preamp might be a solution instead of new pickups.

I think I bought mine from Angela but that was a pair, Mojotone sells them individually and for a better price anyway...

Ordered!

Just one more thing and the makeover will be complete. Well, aesthetically at least. Couch Strap and maybe a white coil cable and this thing will be the sex.

Man, I was looking at the VW one, but the racer x is definitely the way to go with my monochrome theme.

I've had the same issues until I used BDPG to bring it to life.
What's the BDPG?
Broke Dick Peanut Gallery by Fuzzrocious. Out of production

I'm going to Intall my BDPG into my bass vi. With this major tone change, do you think the strangle switch is superfluous? If so, I have an open switch. A series parallel switch doesn't interest me all that much. Any feedback is welcome
