But this guy killed that guy in like 2.5 seconds. AND flirted with Daenerys. The other guy only saw her titties, which we've all seen anyways.

Well, the other guy looked like an nancy boy, and the new one looks like a douchebro so if I had my druthers I'd fuck neither of them. ;)

The new guy was on the HBO show Treme which was another awesome show if you haven't seen it. Great music.

"Clifford the Big Bearded MotherFucker.
They call him The Hound, but I like my dog related name better. He'll serve you solid look at his lightly toasted face with a side order of Fuck the King. He's traveling around with Arya, putting up with her sass, threatening the country's chicken supply, and other non-important things."

That's how I viewed it in the books as well. Maybe they wanted Jamie's character to be less likeable for some reason?

The Lannister twins hate-fuck/rape thing was kinda strange....I think it was done more to mark the massive changes in Jaime and Cersei's characters and relationship.
The jump ahead to the Onion Knight's contacting the Iron Bank was also unforseen and strange, but hey, gotta move that story along.
Also odd was Sam taking his lady to Moletown. But, I can see why they did that for the purposes of television.
I really hope that when Mance comes, they get it right.
The Wall is where its at for this season.
I found it odd that Sam took her to Moletown as well.

Makes me wonder what they are going to do with the whole Sam going to Bravos and the Citadel thing? Seems like they may cut a lot of that out - like you seem him leave, then see him arrive at the Citadel a few episodes later.
Overall, I'm a fan of the streamlining and changes they have made. Gives me hope for what they will do with the book four and five material.

I really dug the scene where Tywin is talking to Tommen about what makes a good king. Tywin in general is much more interesting in the show to me.

That was a solid scene. I am no longer upset that they excluded Strong Belwas. The first Dario was better cast for the character though.

That was my favorite as well.

Agreed! They wrote him really well, and the actor does a great job as well.

Yeah, I hope they don't cut that too hard. It's kind of integral to finding out

Aemon is the oldest Targaryen and the cold of the North has been keeping him alive. As well as those other Targaryen related spoilers that have a loose connection between John Snow And Dany. Plus, the shit at the Citadel is just cool. Renegade Maesters, magic candles of dragonglass, anyone?
Also, Charles Dance is the man. I like that this Twyin is a composite of a few of the more badass old heads of families, but that scene was quite endearing.

I'm going to be really pleased to view that scene. It is one of my favorite moments from the book.

Yeah, that really bums me out as well. Tywin has had a lot of cool scenes that weren't really in the book, like the first time you see him and he's all skinning that deer and talking about battle tactics. Hashtag manshit right there. Even though he is cool, I can't wait for that scene, mostly to see Dinklage's performance.

I totally agree, but I bet they do away with the adventure to Bravos. Sam leaves, then you see the Aemon die, then the Citadel shit. I am excited to see what role the maesters play in the last books - they allegedly wanted to destroy the dragons and magic, but there are some helping out. I hope to see some full on wizard action.

I actually never caught that the cold of the north was keeping him alive. So he is not established as a Targaryen in the show yet? I thought he told Jon Snow when Eddard or Robb died.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, with the last scene of tonights episode, the show just outdistanced the books. Suck it GRRM!
