Luongo's actually played really well, he's the only reason the Canucks weren't blown out in the first two games.

Canuck's D is straight fucking horrible right now. Forwards can't score goals. Luongo is the biggest reason they lucked into first place in the regular season. He's also the only one on the team who showed up to play fucking hockey instead of skating around like an asshole game one and two

whelp, things don't look too good for the pens....let me just take this time to apologize to the fliers for not giving them any challenge in steamrolling us.

That's alright,....having enough gas in the tank if and when we have to face the Rags or the Hubs will be a bonus. Just need Washington and Ottawa to wear those two teams down.

Let me make no bones about. Two post seasons ago the Flyers were exactly in the same position as the Pens find themselves in. Down 3 games and rallied back. I know it's a long shot,...but I feel like if the Pens bear down and start playing some hockey (MAF and Pen's D especially),....they can steal a game or two or even force it to a 7 games series. This series ain't over yet.

Bryzgalov has given up ugly goals in every game so far. If Malkin hadn't taken this series off and Crosby (and the rest of the Pens) kept playing for more than a period Bryz very well could've been run out of town already. He needs to tighten up considerably if the Flyers want to beat the Rags in the next round. It's hard to see Lundqvist giving up 8 goals to overshadow Bryz.

I'm hoping that we get Mez back for round two. Some bad defensive plays have lead to goals. That said. I'm with you. It's not that Bryz has played better than Fluery,...it's that Fluery has been worse.

I hope the Pens do get it together and win a couple of games. Not that I want them to win the series, in fact I dislike the Pens and Crosby in particular, but I've really enjoyed watching this series and I don't want it to end.

In a way,....I want the Pens to win a game or two as well. I think,...something to shake him up and get his head into playoff mode. It's almost like the offense of the Flyers has made it easy on him and allowing 4 goals or more in two out of three games is not good enough. Either that or he needs to get a shutout in the next game. I know he can be a good goalie and that save on Letang in game 2 was highlight real,....but the Flyers need better than good,...they need better than flashes of brilliance.

Maybe I'm wrong,...maybe they can win on Ak-47 alone.

If Neal doesn't get suspended then I'd want the series to end right away. The Pens aren't getting any calmer and I wouldn't want to risk Neal actually connecting with Giroux's head next time.

Find out tomorrow huh,....

I don't know what to expect,....Shannahan's been woefully inconsistent.

I'd expect him and Asham to get suspended...that was some goonery on a scale not seen since the pens/islanders fiasco last season. I love em, but that was just bullshit.

also, I'm a little surprised that so many people are shocked by the lackluster pens D. We have been trash behind our own blue all season. MAC's been our only saving grace defense wise, and he's been shit on the rebound this series, not to mention just plain bad goaltending. You can't depend on your last line of defense every shot and expect to get anywhere in the long run.

TSN Commentary seemed to think the hit on Coots was incidental. The head hunter on Giroux,...not so much me thinks. Giroux looked woozy,...but I think it was really just momentum and the motion of spinning around to see who tried to take his head off that caused him to look like he could have a potential injury.

He could have been selling it a little bit too.

RE Asham,....I always liked him as a Flyer. He was usually a sticks and elbows down type of player. A good tough enforcer type of guy but never one to cross the line. A good Teammate. Scored the odd goal or two for the Flyers as well.

He and a lot of the Pens just seem out of character. It's a weird feeling. The Flyers are the ones walking away. I've just never seen the Flyers on this side of the Hero/Villain Drama.

I've heard murmurings about how bad Pens D is,...but this is really the best chance I've had to see it. I've seen the entire regular season series,...but this is just under a microscope for me.

I think MAF is burned out. Do they play Johnson on Wednesday?

as far I know, it's Fleury. At least, that's what the interviews with Bylsma seem to indicate.
