Which is both kinda nice and kinda not. Feels like WoW right before I quit.

However, the combat feels AMAZING. So fun diving all over the place on either char, there's weight behind special abilities...I could see this being fun for a while.

It's so amazing when I say "hey" and they say "hey" back. Typing in games is a dying form of communication. I actually prefer typing in MMOs.
Got to level 25...I am the only one who likes Great Weapons Fighter
As long as I get more kills than anyone in a dungeon and keep doods off of the casters, I'm doing my job. The road to 60 probably ain't as fun as the other classes but I'm hoping it will pay off...

stunlocks man

I wish it was the rogue that could do stunlocks though then I'd feel like I was back in vanilla wow but with better combat and no griefing

Never played the 3DS version of Resident Evil: Revelations, but the 360 port is pretty great. Pretty much what the last couple of RE games should have been.

it does feel like WoW before I quit as well, kinda funny you say that.
I was gonna play a great weapons fighter, like someone said Guts from Berserk lol
but I looooove tanking in MMOs, more than blowing things up with mad damages. Taunts, buffs, and debuffs, shields, plated armor, and huge boots.
or a non elemental mage, remember gravity mages from one of the final fantasies? thats shit was ill
thats me

Going to install Neverwinter and Rift this afternoon/tomorrow. I want a MMO to brainlessly play through, GW2 really disappointed me. A slightly above casual player doing all of the content in 3 months of playtime in an MMO is pretty crap.

FUCKING THANK YOU
OMG
GW2 WAS THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE PAST FEW YEARS

god it hurt me so bad, I even bought the collectors edition!
leveling was fun and all, story was cool and I like how they did it

but there was no fucking end game, at all
"oh you're max level? cute, ok go a head and grind a shit ton of stuff to try out or RNG and if you don't get anything out of it dont worry! grind it out again! remember theres no monthly fee!"
and shit was impossible to grind without a guild.
every max leve instance path was impossible without people who already knew how to do it. If even one person was fucking up it was impossible.
and the huge issue with it is that it's impossible to get gear otherwise.
All the gear you need to do the really real instances (which you're farming for gear as it is) you get from the lesser instances, which you can't do unless you've got above average gear, which you can't get without having farmed all game and spent none of it AND EVEN THEN it's nigh impossible to reach end game with enough to get more than 2 pieces of any given set.
oh and race sets? fucking noob traps, garbage stats for mad amounts of money.

oh and don't get me started on world events, fuck that shit.

Yeah, the GW2 auction house is a joke now too.
It was SO FUCKING COOL in the beta and the first month or so after launch, but tapered off quickly for me.
Engineer is one of the best classes ever though. Especially in beta PVP, man. Those fucking mines were grief central. Get the perk that makes the explosions knock people away and lay mines all over the 2nd floor walkways on that one map...or place a net turret in blind corners for instant lulz. So fun.

Yep, my major problems are that the servers are spread out far to much so Bosses are impossible to kill solo and Events are just a burden. The Overflow is a decent idea when it actually works. The best things about GW1 are just gone. Districts were compact so everyone playing was all together.

Personally I loved solo farming and Speedclears in GW1, it was just wiped out. Speed running missions for exp was nerfed and the Dungeons had zero replay ability. The Afterlife (Hall Of Heroes/Underworld/Fissure of Woe) was such a significant part of Guild Wars lore that it's a real shame that there was hardly any reference much less going into that realm that based the story. I am a total Lore/Story junkie and I was left underwhelmed. As a stand alone game, Prophecies doesn't even need to be a coop game. Factions and Nightfall are still great.

GW2 does things well, but fails in so many others. There's attention to detail in areas that other MMOs overlook but it's spread a little thin with most quests being roughly the same.

The gear is skewed with the effort = reward being not worth it. My Order of Whispers armour was hard enough to get but didnt count to anything.

in TERA you can go outlaw and attack anybody. People at level 60 camp the level 11 n00b places.

Still playing Xenoblade Chronicles. I run hot and cold on it. There's a lot to like, but man is it a slog sometimes. I feel like I spend most of my time finding crap for people in exchange for items I'll never use. The power levels are way off and battles are rarely exciting. Combat is usually either a massacre or you get slaughtered. Thing is, it is so freaking charming. I can't explain it. It just charms me.
