PS can be pretty durn fun and has a good sense of scale, but...yeah, when you run into basically a pay-to-win person you're fucked

I really enjoyed the jetpack guy class but since all I can do is be a nuisance I feel like I'd be more useful as an engineer or medic. The jetpack's just so fun, though. The MAX suits are way better than in the original Planetside, too.
Still have nostalgia for the original, such an 80/20 frustrating/fun experience, so much wasted potential, but still da bess. PS2 doesn't have the sweet inventory system that enabled you to carry 4 disposable rocket launchers, and sneaking around as an invisible dude just isn't the same when you're not constantly paranoid, waiting for an enemy to walk through a door so you can slip into the base before it closes again.
I do kinda wanna play it again but I know it'll only be for like three days before I uninstall

Also, I'm level 19 in Neverwinter, yo. And you CAN search for players in the social menu with just their character names, so that's cool.

Started Neverwinter as a Rogue. Much quicker paced than I expected.

Yeah, it goes pretty quick. I'm level 38 now I think...
And from what I've seen rogues have the highest DPS.
Like they beat the wizard at ranged damage.

Man, there's way too much stuff that I want to play - yet nowhere near enough cool games around.

Did you name him Dargo?
Slightly related, but I ran past a Gkar at one point.
Brrooo. Rogues are just mean. PVP is at set level tiers (so 15-19 and you're lvl 19, 20-29= you're lvl 29, etc) and I'm in the 49 bracket now. Fuckin rogues were doing 600-1k per
throwing knife (@ 2 knives per second), and up to 5k on their close range attacks. In this one match where the other team was like 3 or 4 rogues, the score was 1000 to 1. 1. As in my team managed to hold a control point for a second.

Started playing Neverwinter Nights because you guys got the idea in my head and I don't like the idea of MMOs (can't honestly say I don't like them because I've never tried one, but fuck other people). Also because I bought it ages ago and never got round to playing it. Fun game, but it runs like shit on my nice modern PC so I have it on the lowest graphics settings because my computer is TOO good.

Ah, PC gaming. Pretty fun so far anyway though, and it's not like the graphics are anything to write home about even on the highest settings.

Wooo. EB Games was actually worthwhile for me for once.
Crysis 3 $36au and Devil May Cry $28au both PC copies new. They're probably shit, but literally half price.

NWN! Cheers, I'm a little curious about Neverwinter but from my small amount of experience gaming online I just don't like dealing with dickbags, I'm a single player/multiplayer with actual bros guy. Kickin it oldskool.

It's interesting, I picked up Neverwinter yesterday, got a control mage and rogue up to about 10. Rogue is way more fun, and kills things so much faster.
It actually kinda feels like a single player game to me, grinding quests actually feels fun, and popping into skirmishes is a nice change of pace.

Yeah, you really don't have to interact with people much.
Like even in dungeons and pvp no one talks.
