Congrats skullservant, looks sweet!

As for HBs, something I just stumbled upon after all these years: Series/Parallel wiring with access via push/push tone pots is the shit, best of both worlds. SO VERY GOOD!

my six string bich is wired up with push pulls for this. splitting the neck bucker and running both in series sounds incredible!!! :!!!:

Swapped the ill-fitting Strat hardtail bridge on my Mustang with a string through Toronado model.

The baseplate on the stock bridge is at least twice as thick as the Toronado's but it worked out well, setup way better than before. Go figure.

Right on! I've had experience with coil tap mostly which can sound really good depending on the pickup/guitar but the series/parallel is ruling, HARD!

With coil tap, I usually had to combine pickups as the single on it's own was too drastically different. Sounded fair before but the different settings are far more useable now.

Of course, I can always just get a single coil guitar with series/parallel....Johnny Marr Jag, anyone? But the humbuckers themselves just always push the front end of the amp harder than I want or need.
Playing through any of my blackface amps now with single coil guits, I'm pretty much always in the second, padded input.
I want to run the amp as hot as I can and still get clarity, which means fairly low output single coils. I want the power tubes to do the work!
Maybe partying will help.

I have one of these. Started out as a Douglas Corvis baritone, but I replaced everything but the wood with a mix of Fender and GFS parts, and added a 3rd bridge pickup for some ambiance.

more about the rack I think but pretty stoked to take up half the floor space and not get rid of any guitars.

Thanks, guys.

Pickups are all GFS.
3rd Bridge - Noiseless Overwound Tele Neck Pickup
Bridge - Retrotron Memphis
Neck - Lipstick Humbucker

It's a Fender Superswitch. Positions are:
1-3rd bridge pickup only
2-all 3
3-bridge only
4-bridge and neck
5-neck only

Both humbuckers are wired to Duncan Triple Shots for coil tapping. All 3 pickups have their own volume and tone controls on dual-gang pots. There's a kill switch there too.
