$25 for the "inconvinience" of a bit of soldering seems pretty lame. I mean I'm sure he got a deal on it in the first place. You packed and shipped responsibly, not your fault it got a little jostled in transit.

And yes HE should make a claim to USPS.

I actually understand why this guy wants $25. I'd be a bit frustrated with it, though, just as you are, which is why you should encourage him to contact USPS. You insured it for this very reason. Just because it's not in pieces doesn't mean it wasn't broken during transit.

Well first off, shipping damage isn't something you should be paying for out of pocket when it was insured. You need to get USPS involved. Then if they refuse to pay then you should work with him on figuring out an amount that is mutually beneficial.

So your phasing phased sounds? Wouldn't that rip open a hole in the time space continuum?
A mix control should be nice, I just hate "level" controls like on boss pedals or on the EQD grand orbiter. They never work correctly for me, but having the ability to control the mix of phased and clean would be pretty sweet.
My Subdecay Quasar DLX has a mix knob. It's really useful. It can take me from heavily phased sounds, to vibrato, all the way back to minimal swish, which is a great addition when using ring modulating tones.
When it comes back I'm actually going to be rehousing it along with a few other of my pedals into a giant multi-drive type deal.
Afterlife Compressor -> Rangemaster -> Madbean Egghead -> Super Collider all in one box. I figure it's less to lug around that way, and I'm going to leave all the jacks so that I can patch stuff into the chain as well

nice man, the "multi" effects box. I had an idea like this 2. Something like stick 4 pedals and thats a mobile on the go pedal board.
Looks like usps will do partial claims - don't know how they judge value or if they will take the buyers word on the 'cost of repair' section. I understand that he is upset about it and doesn't want to put up with the hassle of making a claim, but I bought insurance on this damn thing so I wouldn't have to cut further into my profits (already out about $30 after shipping and ebay/paypal) if something did happen in transit.
Also don't know how much it will help/hurt that the box is still in good shape - either they can say I shipped it broken or they could say it was packed well and honor the claim.

yea its possible. I have been working on my own delay concept now but have not yet done it.
