All of VA's craigslist's are jokes. Just absolutely horrible, both in the gear and musicians threads. Either everyone around has horrible taste in music and gear, or its just a horrible state for artists....

I did see this one guy posting from Fairfax or somethin' who was looking to get into a drone/noise thing and his listed influences were all these different poets and stuff, that was pretty interesting.
I've kinda been toying with the idea of moving to Richmond some day, but I dunno. Virginia Beach is just a tourist haven, there's nothing that makes me wanna remain here, other than my family. I gotta get out, though.

I live 10 minutes from that guy, but his desires musically are quite a bit different than mine.

Dude honestly avoid Northern Virginia, I hate it here but I'm basically stuck here. Richmond is completely where its at if you play music, enjoy seeing music, or enjoy listening to music. Plus its actually relatively cheap!
