On a tangential note: is the word albeit really pronounced all-be-it? I always thought it was pronounced all-beet. Or is this one of those brit vs yank things?


And, bubstance, well done. From all you've said it will probably do you better than anything that ex could ever have done. Does that mean you won't move out of arkansas or wherever you are?

I've decided I'm gonna start giving myself a schedule for sleeping, working, etc, and set aside some time to start reading every day. I just bought an eReader 'cause Best Buy had Kobos on sale.

I always say al-be-it.
When I say "always", I mean the two times I've actually used that word.
So, I guess I use that word albeit sparingly.

It's not exactly in the top of my vocabulary either, but I listen to this audiobook by Alastair Reynolds and he seems very fond of that word. And also: forté and another one that seem a wee bit mannered. But that's probably because they are all pronounced differently than what I expected and therefor stand out. When I read a real book I didn't notice any mannerism, but I might have read it in german. I sometimes forget what language I read in.

Excitement: I will be going to a theatre play for the first time in years today. (Well, at least as a pure spectator.)

The problem is, the first time you step out of schedule (and you will), you'll start stepping out more and more and then you'll just stop the whole thing altogether. Happened like, 20 times.
So I just figured out that I should do more productive things, but I kinda don't really care about anything anymore.
The only thing I started doing on a daily basis is meditation, and meditation = free ball trippin', so it's coo'

Ok, so imagine a puppy. He's trying to scratch his head, which is super cute 'cause he's a puppy.

Except this puppy lost its hind legs, so it's just leaning its head down and shaking a little nub. He can't actually scratch his head, so he just has to itch.

Poor puppy. : (

I'm home! It's so nice to be at my house and not surrounded by family. I had a nice Thanksgiving weekend, but am very glad it's over.

There are certain people who can totally handle schedules like that, though. Like Ben Franklin. Dude was an absolute BEAST.

Life today has a huge pace, and it's really hard and stressful to hold on to a schedule.
I'm not saying it's not doable, and I know some people who do it, but those people
shut out EVERYTHING from their life that's not connected to the schedule.
(anyway, should have put YMMV or IMHO or sth like that at the end of my post)

Yeah... it's actually really fucking weird how quickly we connected. It took me and my ex months to get to the point where we were having conversations half as deep as the ones I'm having with this girl. I don't know about moving, though. I had planned to go back to Michigan since that's where my family and friends are, but now I've realized that the best program for my chosen major is at a university in California.

But oh yeah, forgot to mention... this new girl likes fuzz.
