yeah boomerang details would be awesome, although I don't think they have a cool contest like boss:
RC-20 at my guitarcenter for 150bucks definately thinking about it
Then I would have time bender RC-2 RC-20 on my board I think I could get some good stuff with that combo.

I suggested my friend check out one of these for his reverb/delay needs and now I want one again.

Tell me more -- been thinking about one of these for a while.

Well, they may not have a competition, but Mike is an incredibly nice man who shipped me a power supply betwixt lots of nice reassurance about how I would not explode my pedal by plugging it into jolly old Eire's generous 230v mains.
As far as the thing goes, I'll be doing an in depth review somewhere soon, but instantly, out of the box, I loved it. Tiny footprint, the buttons are sensitive as a loopers should be. The amount of options and ways to develop them is baffling unless you read the amusingly written manual. The octave down thing is awesome for me as I can stack some violin drones, drop it down to WHOOMP, and play with that for hours. There's a double speed thing also. Seriously, I'd be here for a while.
The ability to stack loops of different times, whether in Sync, Master and Free Play (the latter of which I use almost exclusively) and trigger them in a number of ways is both an indespensible live tool, an amazing practice tool and a victory laden songwriting tool as I can imagine. It's the first looper I've owned, Aside from the one on my GT-10, I'd been after one for a while and got it as a birthday present, (I had been raving about it for a while).
Seriously opened up new doors for me.
I am not in any way affiliated with Boomerang. The nice folks at small sound/bigsound, Strymon and Wilson will get just as much of an enthusiastic response, I am sure.

Used to have one. Great bang for the price.
Now there's a new model out, it only differs for having true stereo outputs.

The FD900 has ping pong delay!
I haven't gotten to try it yet though...

Thanks for the great review, the service alone would sell me on it, I hate dealing with companies with terrible customer service.

Anytime man. I too am all about giving my money to nice folks.
I'm not so petty that a bad experience would colour my opinion of the product, but I'm always grateful for someone taking the time to care about their wares and customers.
And it's a hell of a device. Even when I've got the El Capistan, and the Timeline (I'm not mad, just want each for different things, and don't require each immediately), this will stay on board as my main looper. Seriously. Love the thing.
