Toadworks was actually one of the brands that constantly ran ads in guitar magazines. Half page too which isn't cheap. I think the pedals didn't catch on because they were unique at a time when clones were the big market.
Then there was also Deco Pedals by the same builder. They were announced but I don't believe any were ever made/sold because the prices were incredibly high. IIRC they were $399 or $499 each.

Never seen those Decos before! 2011... that's right when Strymon starts blowing up. Bad timing, I'd imagine.
I haven't opened an real magazine in over a decade, which would explain why I didn't see the ads. I kinda wanna grab a couple cheap and nostalgia trip a little. Need to break out the E13 (ok, not really, I never had one that was actually usable), Barge Concepts, NVN, Monsterpiece and such while I'm at it.

I'm a bit surprised that it appears to only have 2 pots. All of their other current offerings have 4 or 5 pots.
He used to make a bunch of 2/3 knob boosts and drives back when he was Pharaoh Amps, maybe he's going old school for this one, like just Vol/Tone. Litho Boost (aka Class A Boost) has been discontinued, as well, so maybe a replacement? "HF Adjust" instead of "Tone" feels more like reverb or... compressor or something, though.

Those HCFX days were simpler times. I had a ton of Boss and EHX pedals and then an Infinitphase and a Robotalk on my board.

I still have an OG Robotalk! I wish I'd bought an Infinitphase and a few others back then *cough*Hollow Earth*cough*. It felt like they were out of reach at the time, but now I'm staring at thousands of dollars of pedals on the shelf and wondering what my decision-making process actually was.

I had a Hollow Earth and just wasn't ready for it. And then I had an Anti-nautilus and wasn't into glitch enough to keep it. Now I really wish I had both back.

One pedal is a mind blowing custom tremolo where you can draw and manipulate your own custom waveforms. The other is another fucking fuzz.

Dang. I wish I'd had the money then. They're really hard to find, now.

I would still have my old hollow earth if it was more hi-fi. Still sort of wish I still had it. Nothing out there does what it did....
edit: except the Ghost pedal by Lightning Wave effects

The Goatkeeper allows you to draw custom waveforms as well.

I'm sure he got clearance to use the image, too.
