for now this is my bedroom set up, I have awesome neighbours who say they can't even hear me...
so its been fun to work on different sounds. So used to playing whatever is around at gigs.
Now playing my own shit set up for a while in one place, well, its nice.

I really like the tough ole British tube amps I must say...
I would run my Orange and Hiwatt together, called it the Creamsicle...
got pics somewhere...
Guess I would need some Vox and Laney now to complete the task. (of all British flavours)
Although, I had a laney and destroyed it twice...so, nah...

Is that an ac4tv? I've been gassing for one really bad lately. Looking at the combo so I can bring it places instead of my head and 2x12. How's it sound. Can u crank it at the 1/4 watt setting and still be bedroom volumes?

It is indeed an ac4tv. It sounds pretty good, much better than a Valve Jr. The tone control helps tame some of the Vox brightness with single coils. I've been playing it with a Tele Deluxe tuned down to C standard with a very nice, warm yet clear tone. Bridge position single coils (on my strat) can get a little too shrill with the tone past noon. It can be dialed out though. Haven't tried it with my Jazzmaster though, which is more balanced IMO.

The 1/4 watt setting is still loud. You could piss off some neighbors in an apartment. But it is certainly bearable for bedroom levels if you don't have to worry about that. The 4 watt setting is loud though. Much louder than I expected. Maybe not clean drum-levels, but you could do it cranked no problem. I find I can't turn it up past 2 on 4 watt for bedroom volume.
There is great clean up with the guitar volume though. I think that makes it pretty great for those times you want to just crank the amp and play.

Yeah, it was only a 2 man eccotone, so I brought half the amp.

Oh yeah! Bought new ones from ebay and put them on. Easy peasy. I've been through...three now. Yeah, three.

Yup. Two Sunn 2x15s. I got the second for $50 bucks off a guy because it wasn't wired up and had the Sunn badge replaced with a Fender badge (why anyone would do that is beyond me).

the bass amps.

M9 for bass, PRO FET for guitar (I gotta get a decent guitar amp so I can retire the Warwick... or dual-amp...hmmmm).

the footswitch is for the M9.

I've posted this setup before; but here is what I have to work with at home.

Pignose G40V. The stock speaker blows so I replaced it with a Celestion G10N 40Watt 8ohm. I don't know anything about guitar drivers. It's just a Chinese replacement speaker but I feel like it's an improvement and I got it for pretty cheap. I also poached some Mullard 12ax7's out of an old Hammond that I inherited. Threw those in there. Still wanting to replace the stock 6L6s. 40 watt amp that is pretty loud. I have no intentions of relying on this amp as a gigging amp though.

The cab next to it is a an Ashdown Perfect Ten Solid State bass amp that I gutted and turned into bass cab to use with the G40V. It does the trick. Actually sounds better than it did as an amp.
