what.... kind of phone do you have now? i spend ASS loads of time on mine's. as much as i hate Apple, the ubiquity of the iPhone makes it damn usefull. very much waiting for the next iteration.

An old LG Env3. Its a solid, good phone that's great for texting (not so much for calls, half the time I can't hear), and its lasted me two years now. I've wanted to get a new phone for a while, but since I never fertilized my money tree it's not giving much that isn't spent on bills, so I ended up just keeping mine. The iphone looks and is super snazzy, and my dad swears by his. But the android phones out there are just as useful afaik, so they aren't out of the question either.

The biggest thing is I don't want her to spend that much money on me. I dunno, I've always felt super uncomfortable about anyone (gf, parents, friends, etc) spending money on me. Deep down it feels like I'm being wasted on and that I should have been the one to spend my money so that they could have gotten what they wanted. Sometimes like I really need to pay them back...

but i'm only a nerd about pedals. i actually like thrashed basses way better than clean ass ones (mines is in really nice shape, but i don't mind dings and shit long as they're honestly come by), and i don't know shit about amps or heads. i love my Rusty into a power amp into some Aggy 12's. i'm glad i don't lust after all them crazy cabs and heads. too much money just wanting ALL THE PEDALZ IN THE WORLDZ.
