one of the favorite sounds i've ever had was a practice-room test of my then-bassist's SVT and Ampeg fridge with my Strat. it had that massive, blocks-of-moving-air Rolling Stones sound. just fucking wonderful.

Today the final stages of renovating/repairing the flooded basement begin. The floor is in 75% and my small workshop/music/office room is nearly completely finished. Today the new desk arrived and I will start to move my stuff back in. Thank god the insurance company wasn't being a complete dick. The sound isolation panels are already on the walls and I will probably be able to move my drumset back in this evening or tomorrow :yay:
I also finished all the electrical stuff and installed all the sockets and light switches. The network cables are also nearly finished (just a switch missing and the homenetwork and server are online again). I also have more storage space now (because of a bigger desk and two additional shelfs).
:joy:

alcohol and pop-punk(i know ill get shit for picking that genre) always makes me feel better. listeing to a mix of the story so far, set your goals, in her own words and the wonder years and drinking an 30 rack while lying in bed. couldnt be more content with telling the world to fuck off

It's cold outside, I'm sitting here in big warm clothes listening to music with a nice cup of tea, how much I have to work hasn't sunk in yet, and I might be getting a double bass this week!

You wonder how he even gets the time to post!

It's all in the top hat. Women see top hats as they do chocolate.

DESIRABLE.

A toan that I would normally describe as "trebly clanky shit" sounded awesome today. The setting I tend to use sounded muddy and lifeless. And lately I find myself wishing my J-style basses had p pickups.

However I don't like the way P/J basses look and also don't know what other kind of bridge pickup I would like. I'm only sometimes into the J bridge.
