I was actually leaning that way. I like the more earthy tones. But the black grill cloth matches the Peavey VB-2 that powers it.... My OCD is battling my visual preferences right now...
Could always get a different amp to match the Salt n Peppa grill if your OCD is bothering you that much.

That would be sick but i just love this combo right here....

It's just ominous and evil looking IMO.

i agree, most classic and atheistically pleasing combination.
haha its all good, every forums embedding procedures are different, you'll figure it out soon enough.
Just so you know if you order a new Matamp from the UK be sure to very dillligent about having them ship the amp without the tubes installed, and have them labeled for position. Shipping companies especially international ones arent known for taking the best care of packages.

Damnit AA. I still love that halfstack. So good. Next time I'm over, I want to hear it. LOUD.
And for any of you wondering- his basement was shaking on '1'..... GOOD.

I all ready did

The middle cabs I use in my gigging setup, the top 4x12 is for guitar, the bottom 2x12 is for bass. (i play both in my band, depending on the song) The peavey powers the 4x12 and the orange the 2x12. and they are never on top of the cabs (see pic below) so the heads don't really have to match each cab. But when i do play with my full big rig I use the peavey as a slave and it is visible, so it would be nice for both cabs to match that.... but the salt n pepper looks so nice....

I'll make sure its there next time your over and not at the practice spot then.

It really is ungodly loud, 225watts of el34 power.

On 2 i can cut through my 7 person band with utter ease.
If you thought the house was shaking with that on 1 you should have heard the full rig on 4

We need to rent out a small warehouse and have a noise show. I've wanted to do that for a while. Somewhere we can crank as loud as we want and nobody will care, and all the musicians are noise / drone. Setup some crazy awesome lights and have artist friends display their work. That would be so much fun to me.

Me and Skully aren't very far away my friend! He's from around Baltimore, and I'm in the DC suburbs. We might have to make a show happen! Do you know any venues that would allow an unnecessarily loud noise show?

We're sort of "from" philly. Every show we play is an unnecessarily loud noise show.
You come up this way... i'll be there.

Dan, if you cross the pond to come to a show I would put you up and feed you for your stay.

^ Likewise Dan if you move onward to the fantastically boring Midwest. Gotcha covered holmes.
@Ancient, the full rig looks beyond sick. Also, salt n' peppa grill looks tasty, almost went with that on my ebony cabs before discovering Bluesbreaker cloth. I love the salt/pep on Nick's darkburst Emperor as well, lookin' good y'all. Looking. Mighty. Good.
