An EHX pedal with really interesting functionality, and actually looks good?!?!?!

I didn’t know their graphic design team knew how to make a nice looking pedal.

Right? The most baffling thing is that the old designs were so killer. You’d think they’d be like “hey, remember the DMM? Make something that looks like that.”

I agree that it looks cool, but (without having played any of them myself) the EHX synthesis/emulator pedals all sound so...dead to me. Like, there's no life in the sound. It's flat or something. Idk. Just a feeling I get when I hear them in demos. Maybe it's how they record the sound. *shrug*

I’ve flipped a bass synth wah and a boss bass synth and I keep hoping a synth pedal will come along that meets all my criteria - I don’t know if this one will but it’s intriguing for sure. I’ve been on the fence about a EHX bass synth for like 10 years now but this “might” be the sort of thing I pull the trigger on. Maybe.

New drum machine? Hope it's not a drum machine.

Ultimately I only care about how pedals sound. But................................................................
The glowing rose (is that a sexual euphemism?) would look better without those thorns/vines. The vines
and thorns definitely read like a chintzy tramp stamp tattoo on Pamela Anderson.
If the lines making up the roses were more angular and abstract, like the roses of Charles Rennie Mackintosh,
then it might work a bit better.

I don't know if it's me but in the last couple of years I haven't heard any "new" phaser capable of tickling my GAS.
Side note: good artwork

I admit that I have skipped it, probably because right now I'm focused on different stuff. Based on the use I did with my previous phasers (not so many, just the standard mxr 90, the quasar dlx and the whetstone) it is definitely something I can leave out of the board in my current setup. I always used them at their most extreme settings and just a few times for standard phase sounds.

Don't know if this has been posted yet but, even if the pic is of the V1, seems like we are finally going to see/hear the Particle V2
