I would love Westbrook on the C's but I think he goes to the Lakers.

If I had to guess, Pau Gasol finds his way to GSW

yeah i was thinking earlier Lakers are most likely to swoop in on a Russ deal because they ACTUALLY HAVE ASSETS RIGHT NOW

Yeah prevailing attitudes are the Lakers will give up Russel, Ingram & Randle.
My hot take is they'll still be a lottery team next year, where Russ gets to walk away and join San Antonio and go HARD at GSW every meeting

Btw while I'm disappointed in this news, for OKC+the western conference in general...I'm glad for KD. This was a rare opportunity, no doubt. And as a fan of hoops I'm super excited for the 2016-2017 season. We've got a bonafide villainous team in the league. The salt will be glorious.
I still support team Lil B. That fella's just special.

I am slightly bummed that there won't be a re-match of this years western conference finals, but I really can't fault KD for bolting.
I would kill to have that kind of mobility.

kevin durant is a fuckin dildo
the blazers backed up a dump truck of cash to evan turner's house
the blazers need a big man but whiff on every single one
the thunder should trade westbrook for ingram, then they'll have a young starting five of adams, sabonis, ingram, oladipo and payne... not bad.

that's not a bad starting 5,
I feel like this has been discussed before, but depending on the circumstances being a dildo isn't the worst thing in the world....it's all about location I guess.
Durant earned the right to go where he wants, has the talent to pick wherever he wants and then went there. If I was in his position I would do the same thing. Stable successful company with a history of good performance, verses peaked out current company where you don't even know if key performers will work there next year, anyone would take that leap.

I don't watch Basketball (probably because both the Sixers are shit and the lack of parity), but is parity at a horrendous all-time low now? Like, I remember the Bulls dominating in the 90s but I was a little shit then and don't know the landscape of that time. It seems absolutely ridiculous though that a guy can go from being up 3-1 on GS to actually just being on GS without GS's core changing at all. Like, the league can not be more boring as whole now because every team is just fucked.

I don't mind it, I don't think the NBA has ever had real parity,
What they do have now is more teams, which means more overall watered down product and a few good teams.
Jeremy lin just got 40 million dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't mind it all that much however, can't wait for round 3 of cavs vs. warriors

Yea that's always bothered me. I like knowing that at least a fair amount of teams have a shot VS "can't wait for round 3 of cavs vs. warriors."
I should probably just stick to hockey before I get out of my wheelhouse.

Does everyone in hockey start the year with a legit shot?
I know that in the NFL there are problem only 6 teams top that could actually win a super bowl
same is probably true for college basketball and college football
I think people like the illusion that someone else could win,
Right now I just need to try to score seats to a warriors game when they come to philly next year without going broke

I'd say the 16 teams that make the playoffs have a legit shot once they're in. Any team is dangerous if they can get on a roll.
The NY Islanders were pretty much a dumpster after NHL's biggest dildo Mike Milbury took over and ruined the team, but they've become a pretty good team again once the ship was straightened out. Some teams though like the Oilers are forever cursed to the first round pick.
