Hey cool, Campbell's back. I guess it's no surprise that the illusion of actually giving a shit about player safety would only go on for so long. My guess is the board of governors told Shanahan to back off a bit.

I don't know I guess it was a clean hit,...to the head Vorecek should have had his head up all the way but there is all this talk about a reasonable expectation of not getting hit in the head. I guess the Flyers don't get that expectation but they've always been held to a double standard when it comes to officiating and supplementary discipline.

I just think that Kronwall could have made a better decision then just hurt a guy. Throw hip check,....negate Vorecek from the play with a board scrum. He could have let up,...but all he wants to do is injure people then run and hide. Pussy. It's a little frustrating cause the Flyers really can't afford anymore injuries.

HOLY SHIT BRYZ HAS 2 SHUTOUTS IN 3 GAMES AND A NICE LITTLE 4 GAME WINNING STREAK. Not quite ready to sell the farm yet,...but I will admit to enjoying watching Bryz play over his stretch of starts. I'm seeing emotion and frustration focused into being successful (slamming the stick on the ice after a turnover that forced a save in the Det@Phi game, giving props to teammates for helping him out on saves, blocking the puck etc etc). I'm seeing a fire that I haven't seen in a Flyer goaltender in a long time. Could it be that Bryz is adopting a Flyer/Hextall mentality? I heard a lot of genuine applause from fans as opposed to the sardonic "holy shit he made a save" applause he had been receiving.

Normally wouldn't read a hockey posting so soon since I'm cautious of spoilers but since I'm gonna fall behind in games as a result of going on a little vacation I figured I'd just check in and watch highlights on the Flyers site.

Did we get any injury returns? Any word on Voracek? It seemed like they were just treating it like he needed stitches and were being tight lipped as to whether or not he has a concussion.

Play-offs approaching bump.

Since the Ducks didn't quality I'll likely watch the Flyers-Pens series in the first round. Looking at the standings/schedule that one is pretty much bound to happen and should make for an enjoyable series. If only to watch Hoy's Flyers knock out the Pens. It's a pity all those concussions haven't made Crosby less of a crybaby. He was certainly on his 'game' again this past Sunday.

Crosby is such a bitch. He totally takes little cheap shots at guys, and then when someone gets him back, Pens fans act like he was gang-raped. It seems to elementary to say this, but don't dish it out if you can't take it. Bruins fans at least understand that weasels like Marchand are hated by everyone else and are going to get their lumps every now and then. And when he does, we don't call for a Warren commission about it.

On another note, it's nice that the Bruins finally decided to wake the fuck up and start playing like they're actually alive for a few games before the playoffs started. I hope they can keep that on/off switch in the right position from here on out.

Was at the FLyers-Rangers game last night. Flyers can't afford these terrible first periods in the playoffs. Granted I think they outplayed the Rangers for a large part of the game. Defense in front of the net is weak, Bryz gave up some weak rebounds and was getting out of position. It's good to see the Flyers getting some goals in on Lundqvist.

It will be interesting to see FLyers vs Penguins in the last game of the regular season knowing they will play just a few days afterwards in the playoffs.

Okay,...I'm not really that mad, just think I'm being entertaining...but that was hella pathetic. I think they put too much pressure on themselves to beat this Rangers team at least once this year. 0-6 against the Rags is super embarrassing.
