Hi mate...this was a fair few pages ago, but i was talking about the Ritual pedal and the way that the fuzz cuts out momentarily when my guitar volume is on high and you mentioned thats because of the fuzz face characteristics of the pedal.

So I'm assuming the Pharaoh and the LSTR wont have the same issue right as they are from the Muff family. Only reason i'm asking is that i'm very close to pulling the trigger on a Sarcophagus.

yea doesnt happen like that for muffs

Thanks for your help mate.

I havent really thought about that...but i really want the LSTR as a lot of my playing at home is low volume and i would get a bigger fuzz sound out of the LSTR at those volumes as opposed to the Pharaoh; and i already have a few good OD pedals. But ill have a look into the coven too, might as well cover all my bases!

LTSR + Pharaoh would be a great combo for those volume needs. LTSR for lower volumes and a boosted Pharaoh for high volumes, that's a killer combo right there.

I had a Sarcophagus and I dug it. But I could never get it to stack right. But then again I've never bonded with a BAT pedal unfortunately :(
I think the Sarcophagus looks badass

i've stacked the Pharaoh with muffs, and while i could get cool sounds i think the Pharaoh sounds best on it's own than that way. works the best with a dirty boost behind it and rolled pickups.

When to jam with this guy. Turned out to have mixed feeling, he wanted to do that slow, fast, slow post rock. I was looking more to do insturmental sludgey/ambient type deal. Hopefully next session will be a little more awesome with a drummer and another guitarist.

when me and the bassplayer gotta sync up on new shit it slows everything down so much. he's an awesome player but doesn't know any (and i mean any) theory whatsoever, so it's hard to explain to him what to do.

i have the exact opposite with my bass player...i have no theory knowledge whatsoever...and he know the shit like the back of his hand...but as i write the majority of the music, i show him what I'm playing, and tells me what I'm actually doing and learns it instantly...I guess that works, for as long as I'm writing the music, otherwise I'd be fucked!

None of the people I play with (8 in different bands) know jack-shit about theory. I don't either, but because most are good musicians or at least get dragged along, it works pretty well. We'll never be the Beatles, but who cares?

Now that looks pretty schmexy, and I've loved every Malekko delay I've tried so far. If I was in need of a delay I would be jonesin for one.
