It's tasty, indeed. Just had a nice sesh and broke her in. It's glorious and I didn't need to crank either amp above 3. I think I'm in love.

My doom band broke up, but this is what I used for years. So it goes.
Just add a P-bass and fretless Stingray, then someday we'll return!

Deadly pedalboard, my friend. Randy's Revenge was one of the first 'boutique' high-end pedals and it's never left my board since. I think I bought it in 2010 from the first run.
Also, is that the Toneczar phaser or tremolo? Been waiting four years+ for their pedals. I've given up.

I love everything about this rig. The 400+ and the badass simple board. I'm also really (is impressed the right word?) that you've got a randy's revenge on there. I've been into noise/dissonance lately and our bassist has some pretty bland stuff, aside from his dirt sounds. How do you use it?

I bought my first ring mod in 2008 thinking it would be a fun toy on occasion, but I've never been without one on a board since! I like the control of Randy's Revenge, very usable range.
That is a Toneczar Halophaze, which I waited 5 years for. I didn't realize it at the time, and forgot about it more than once, but once it arrived, it was worth every moment of being without it. Such an incredible pedal.

Mostly for big tremolo sounds, sounds like rolling thunder at high volume. But then for noise freakouts I start spinning the FREQ knob as I oscillate the delay, and the aliens begin to land. Kind of like this
old noisy thing I used to do.
Thanks n' stuff!

The guitarist and I are starting a new project that is shaping up to be bluegrass/doom (doomgrass? bluedoom?), but we've only had two rehearsals so far, so we'll see what happens. All roads lead to Sabbath eventually, I'm sure it's only a matter of time...

in a 10x14 room
classics are just boring stock classics (and for sale locally

)
black grilled 69' has been converted to run 12ax7s and has sovtek 6550s (it was half ass converted when I bought it don't hate)
the original grilled 69' has 6 matched NOS GE 6550s and NOS RCA 12dw7s and is
"the best sounding highest head room amp ive ever heard AND tested" -mah tech (that does NOT bullshit, sometimes painfully)
it tested 350 watts CLEAN @ 40 hz.
12ax7 basterd 69 tested at 307 watts clean @ 40 hz
the basterd 69' might get modded in terrible ways. traces are already cut so why not make it run ef86s and 6pn2s?
