It may be kind of weird, but I was surprisingly happy when I started my new job last night. I now have 1 full time+ job, and 3 part time jobs. My work day yesterday was 19 hours long.

I finally started to feel like I was utilizing myself though. It was satisfying. It was like flexing muscles that have been still for too long.

Fuck dude. How many hours a week? I have a friend that has two part-times and ends up working 70 hours a week sometimes.

It varies by the week, but more than 80. I sometimes do work for one or two of my part time jobs during down time at my full time job to try to keep the hours down.

Work is like anything else. Exercise or learning for example. The more you do, the greater your capacity to do becomes. So long as you choose to enjoy your work.

You like work out lots too though when do you find time to sleep?

I rarely sleep more than 3 or 4 hours a night - except for 1 day a week where I sleep more, usually Sunday night. Sunday is my day off working out, so I have an extra hour or two free just from that. Also, when I do work on Sunday it is during the day, not at night. Occasionally I'll sleep for a half hour or so on the bus to work in the morning or on the way back during the week, but more often I use that time to read.

Helped coordinate and run a conference this weekend. 190+ people came from all over Texas for a computer security conference. Went super well, but it's gonna take a week for my body to recover.

Figured out how to use my delay almost like the pedal on a piano, then when I stop holding down the string it starts to repeat like crazy and feedback. It's like the coolest thing ever. I'm so happy with my rig right now. I was busting out some The Faint bass lines earlier today on my jazzy which has become a a baritone(via heavier strings). So good.

Now I just need a band to play it in.
