It was truly an epic month!

I take it you found someone to see Melt-Banana with you then? I hate that, my gf tends to dislike most of my favourite music, andnmy friends have different taste in music than me too. So I've definitely been that sad guy at the show on my own before. Fuck it, I'm not going to miss a show I really want to see just because no one wants to go with me.

Thanks! Just got the Ludwigs in there last night, and they sound awesome...notice my amp going directly into the drummers ear

I've gone to shows I didn't care about with people before so they didn't go alone :hello:

Show last night went well, we got shut down before we could play our last song, but that's okay since we played our new stuff and it was received really well. Also the guy who told us to stop is going to come and see us play the 20th, he really liked our band but we had gone over time, so he was just following orders.

I have an extension cab that I put behind the drummer just so he can hear me. A makeshift monitor, if you will.

Nice! He said he couldn't really hear the guitar (through sovtek behind him), but we were playing "quietly." I haven't played with a drummer in 5+ years so I gotta adjust.

No, still nobody wanted to see Melt-Banana with me. That one was the exception. They missed out.
Yeah man, if you wanna see a show you shouldn't back out of it just because you're going alone. Admittedly it was kinda awkward in the beginning but it's not a big deal. If I drank I imagine it wouldn't be much of an issue at all.
Melt-Banana were totally cool, they were hanging out with everybody and watching the other bands 'n stuff. They even have someone in a cat mascot suit with them on this tour!

The Blender ties the room together (I'm assuming that's your kitchen on the other side of a pass through there).

If you look close enough, to the left of it, there is a mic
...but I've never actually mic'd it.
