There's a Sunn 200S in my area that I could possibly trade a Musicman HD-150 for.... Should I go for it?

Possibly? Is your Musicman just a head or is it the combo? If it's a straight trade, then it looks like you'd be coming out on top, depending on the condition of the Sunn.
Does the 200S come with a cab? Then definitely.
Seems like the going rate of a 200S is around $675-$800 while the HD150 is between $400-$500.

it's just the head, and it's just a trade for a Sunn 200S head. The Sunn was recently retubed and serviced.
I want to use it for my bass' mid/treble, but I can't get a clear consensus on if it will sound good for that. Plus it is only 60-ish watts compared to the HD-150's 150 watts.

Interesting, i complain that old Peavey stuff never pops up and now this pops up when i dont have the money. Not a screaming deal but not bad at all really, odd 2x12 cab too that ive never seen

I have an earlier model Toronado.
It does not have a matching head stock. But it does have chrome knobs and a tort guard on all black. It looks great. I like it. Plays very nicely.

But I want this for reasons.
Reasons mostly being matching head stock.
